General Terms and Conditions for STINMOD+ online model

  1. The Authorised User must acknowledge they hold a position of trust when accessing, using the nominated STINMOD+ online model.

  2. The Authorised User must not:

    • copy, send or provide the Dataset to non-authorised individuals
    • publish any research materials that could result in individuals being identified
    • perform any matching, sharing, merging or linkage of any Dataset or Unit Record Data with any other data without the prior written consent of NATSEM
    • attempt to identify any individual in the Dataset
  3. The Authorised User must only use the nominated model for the primary purpose specified in the application form and must obtain written approval from NATSEM before using the model for any other purpose.

  4. This STINMOD+ online models are designed to provide general and indicative information on how the budget may impact upon the individual and the population. By using this model, you acknowledge and agree that the information generated by it should not be considered as expert advice and will not necessarily be tailored to, or reflective of, your circumstances. UC and NASTEM do not represent or guarantee the accuracy, reliability or currency of information generated through this model. You should not rely on the information generated by the model for any reason and UC and NATSEM disclaim all liability for any decisions or actions you may take in relation to the information provided by this model. If you find any errors on this website or in relation to the model, please let us know. If you have concerns about the impact of the budget or your financial situation, we recommend you consider seeking professional advice.

  5. You MUST include the following paragraph in any work written that use the STINMOD+ online model. This paper/report uses estimation results from STINMOD+ online microsimulation model. The STINMOD+ project was initiated and is managed by the NATSEM, University of Canberra. The findings and views reported in this paper, however, are those of the author and should not be attributed to NATSEM.

  6. NATSEM may amend these Terms and Conditions of Use from time to time at its absolute discretion and notify Authorised Users.
